Sean got his start in swimming at age 5, following his siblings to the swim team in Oklahoma. After a successful high school career, Sean went on to swim for Frank Busch at the University of Arizona who, most recently, was named an assistant coach for the 2008 US Olympic team. After two years at Arizona, Sean moved east to Rutgers University to swim under Chuck Warner, the former College Swim Coaches Association president. Throughout college Sean also taught young local swimmers to hone their techniques. After graduating, he was hired by Coach Warner as the assistant swim coach and the director of the Rutgers University Swim Camp that focused on personal achievement and the love of the sport. Sean has been happy to find a new home to pass on his lifelong love for swimming and those same philosophies with the Manhattan Makos!
