Eric Dunipace

Eric grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and his been swimming nearly all his life. A bit of a late bloomer, Eric didn't start competing year-round until his sophomore year of high school but he wasted no time in joining the elite ranks of the sport. A member of the University of California at Berkeley men's swim team, Eric was an Olympic Trials qualifier, competing at the 2008 U.S. Trials in Omaha in the 50 and 100 freestyle. Eric was a Molecular and Cell Biology major and some his undergraduate research was even published in the journal Nature Immunology. After graduation, Eric worked as a lab tech for a biofuel start-up in the Bay Area for a year before he decided to reconnect with his swimming roots. Eric has 5 years of lifeguarding experience and lots of experience working with kids, including a summer spent as a camp counselor in Japan
